I've been thinking of ways to capitalize. My uncle bought dirt cheap homes during the 80's meltdown. He bought properties for $30-40,000 (in Houston). He rented them out and sold in the early 2000's and made more than 100% return. A friend and I are going to go in joint on a multi-unit property in Houston, since we are always going back and forth there. But I think there are bigger opportunities...
